Have you ever wished that you could override a predetermined game ending point?

I was just playing the Battle of Monmouth which is surprisingly interesting in the latter phases. Many people don't know that the Americans rebound and can come back to reverse what looks to be a certain outcome in the early phases.

We wish that we had been able to extend the battle. I am surprised that this feature has never been added.

Yes, once the game 'ends' in the Ancient Warfare Series you get an option to carry on. I like it very much.

BTW, Paul has addressed some of the interface issues with that series, and it plays much smoother. Of course his AI routines have always been second to none. :-)
