The Battle of Fort Detroit August 16th, 1812 .....................032: Detroit_aw
has ended in an American Major Victory.Image

The forces of His Britannic Majesty, led by

Lieutenant General Larry Davis
His Royal Majesty's
64th Regiment of Foot

fought heroically but the loss of Tecumseh to capture & the stubbornly tenacious defense of the Americans, led by

General de Division Duc du Philips
Brigade Royale Roussillon
Troupes de Terre du Canada - Commanding

proved too difficult to over come.
Long Live The Union of States!

The British have won a minor victory at Mackinac. A valiant defense by the Americans prevented a major victory.
