It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that Kaiser Franz has made the following promotions within his forces:

Peter Keller to Oberst
Aaron Burr to Unter-Lt
Stephane Chicouri to Oberst
Vladimir Komissarenko to Unter-Lt

It is good to see the Austrians have an active group of officers trying to promote themselves at the expense of the French. The French armies seem to be suffering from low morale. You never hear a word from them -- even if you insult their Emperor's wife. Pretty little thing she is...

I must admit - the French must be out getting more perfume. Talk like this used to bring down Eugene on us or one of the other Foubert's, Chambront, or Duc de Toilette and all of those lovely titles they invent.

Whatever happened to Barry Maunsell anyway?
