The results of the Member Input Survey says.................drum roll please!.......................that you bloodthirsty sods want to kill each other.

Well, who am I to stand in the way of a good fight. If it’s a tournament you want, it’s a tournament you shall have! :P :P :P

OK, while we are stockpiling the ammunition, and taking all prudent measures to provide life saving medical assistance, please take a moment to tell us what type of tournament you prefer. You will need to make three selections. :o

First, select the tournament type in which you are most interested. The choices are Junior Officer, General Membership, or Guards Tournament. :)

Second, select the tournament format you prefer. The choices are Single and Multi-Player. :D

Last, tell us to which army you belong. :P

That’s it. All very simple. Now, if you will pardon me, I must get busy digging a bomb shelter and procuring a fine set of ear plugs. All this firing, shelling and screaming is bound to get very loud, and is quite contrary to my sensitive, gentle Hanoverian nature.

I'd like to participate in a multi-player General level Battle in which all players of a side move, charge, change formation etc and then the commander of the side does all firing and finally conducts any melees that are required.

Mike, it's great to hear from you again! I lost track of you for some time after our campaign game. Are you still in Kiev? I thought things were changing for the worse and you were contemplating a relocation.

Your request for a "No Blitz" style tournament is duly noted. What do you think of embedded melee and the MOE Rules in general?

Hi Mark,
Still in Kiev, yes, and still preparing to become refugees :)
I'm presently fighting a single player battle where we observe the structure i mentioned above and it works well for me. It makes defence more realistic and forces a much more tactical approach to attacking.
I'm also involved with a multi-player NIR (talonsoft) Borodino which although it is taking a long time is very enjoyable.
The first frost hit us here today, time to evacuate Moskow and head back to the Polish frontier.......

Yes, I did not fully understand the different armies you mention? For instance "Prussian army" - does that mean that only Prussians fight each other? We do that now anyway!

In other words does "Prussian Army" mean a intra-army tournament only for Prussians?

Also how does MOE fit into this? Would the General Membership tournament be called MOE? Or does Ken Jones own the copyright on that one?

How about "MOTS" - Master of the Sword?

Yes, I can see by the entries that there seems to be some confusion about the army selection. Truthfully, the answer is very simple (like my mind, unfortunately). I intended for each officer to select the name of the army to which he is assigned e.g. you would select Prussian, I would select Anglo-Allied, Jeff Bardon would select French, etc.

My intention was to determine whether all of the officers desiring a tournament belonged to the same army, or if there was a balance between French and Coalition officers. In the last tournament that was hosted by Marco and Chuck, there was a decided imbalance toward the French players which resulted in several of the Coalition officers being required to play multiple opponents.

My apologies for the confusion.

Hi Scott!
Kicking? I'm practically doing the Can-Can :)
Shall we march together into Glory? Or meet in battle on some windswept moor?

Haha nice Mike. I can imagine you rather engrossed to say the least...

To march together into Glory, like the old days, would require you to join Prussia and bring all the old iNWC boys with ya...

Or we could form an MP sometime on the same side.

Or we could go at each others throats...

Any which way it will probably have to wait. I am so poor off in my turn around right now.

We french can spin like a top and deliver the killing blow from the least expected quarter!
I don't get a lot of free time these days, my business is taking off, but I still enjoy delivering a good kicking before breakfast
Looking forward to a good MP tourney
