Really....
The crazy guys that hijacked and later dropped the club 4 years ago also argued about how many games someone played, as if that can be a benchmark if someone is allowed to say his opinion or how much hat opinion is worth.
Such arguments already show the lack of any reason for these silly actions that damaged the club because it made the club less interesting.
His opinion is as much worth as yours, maybe even more as he cares for the club and you just for your own statistics.
And we just lost a fundamental feature of the club just because you complained about statistics.
When I think of all the work I had put into a new OOB, first a full 1812 OOB then a Borodino only OOB, to change the French OOB so we could have a more international touch and draw more people in. All that work for nothing now that sides do no mean anything.
All I can say is that the ACWGC runs with much higher demands to the membership & it's officers in commanding positions and it fares much better then we do, that anyone can even believe we here would do better if we just do the opposite of what the ACWGC does is just ridiculous.
Last but not least, all should remember how it was 4 years ago when a handful of people though they do the work and so they can dictate how the club is run. And just don't care about the rules we all have agreed to.
That such pillar of the club is just removed and that without any voting within the club is basically the same thing, and it's a pity that we have come to that point again.
in spite of what you think
I think anyone commenting on how we record wins and losses should at the very least play the games.
Anyone one can join this club........some have joined more than once with duplicate membership.
To be an active member, members should participate in some form or another.
Either posting or playing the games.
That guy.........whoever he was, does neither.
Bottom line is the board voted and it is what it is.
