It is indeed heartening to witness the formidable Cossack force flourishing in both numbers and skills. I would like to suggest to Bykhalov of the Don Cossacks Regiment to pay a special attention to the supply line of the 1er Corps d'Armée. There is an intelligence indicating the presence of Scotch whisky and Scottish tartan within the baggage train of the 1er Corps d'Armée. These acquisitions would undoubtedly complement the fine collection of spirits amassed during our recent triumphs over the French.

However, I would advise against following the good General-Mayor Tartyshev's suggestion regarding the 1er Corps supply lines. If, and I stress again, if, there should be some casks of 25 year old Bunnahabhain Scottish Whisky, secured with all due love and reverence within the bounty of our baggage wagons, you would be advised to leave them well alone. I say this as a gentle warning to prevent you from suffering the ignominy and embarrassment that would surely follow an attempt to loot our mild mannered cantinières. Have no doubt that such a venture would see them transform into the veritable Amazon warriors of ancient times, and you sent scurrying on your little ponies all the way to the Don Host Land, tails between your legs. The stories recounted round the campfires would be passed on from generation to generation of grumblers, your name would become legendary and forever synonymous with humiliation.

Forget about the Whisky, come, let me buy you a celebratory glass of potato vodka instead...
