1. GENERAL PROVISIONS / ОБЩИЕ ПОЛОЖЕНИЯ

1.1. SCOPE OF THE SYSTEM

1.1.1
The awards system is used to encourage
the club members activities.

1.1.2
The system is based on the Russian Imperial Awards System of the Napoleonic Wars era, as at in 1815.



1.2. AWARD TYPES

1.2.1
The system allows for three types of awards for members activities: individual, collective and honorary unit's awards.

1.2.2
Individual awards include orders, honorary weapons, medals and insignias, honorable draw — sheets and titles.

1.2.3
Collective awards are presented by honorary medals.

1.2.4
Honorary unit's awards are insignias and honorary regimental regalias.



1.3. AWARD PROCEDURE

1.3.1
Any kind of members activity within the Napoleonic Wargames Club is subject to award present in this system. This includes battles fought, training games carried out, administrative activity performed, scenarios composed etc.

1.3.2
Awards follow from a junior to senior class of the award without a recurrence, in accordance with the award status and the applicant rank. Unless specially stated senior class replaces junior class of the award.

1.3.3
Type of award presented as well as members eligibility is selected by the Russian Army's Order Kapitul after all the necessary information is obtained.

1.3.4
The award is to be approved and presented by commander of the army. The award is to be announced either by the means of the Club forum (The Rhine Tavern) or by the means of general order.

1.3.5
Information about officers awards is to be included into officers dossiers on the army website. Images of the awards may be included in this dossiers.

1.3.6
Officers are allowed to use some or all of their awards images to include into the signature for the forum.

Наградная система используется для поощрения активности членов клуба.

1.1.2
Данная система основана на Российской Императорской наградной системе эпохи Наполеоновских войн, по состоянию на 1815 год.



1.2. ВИДЫ НАГРАЖДЕНИЙ

1.2.1
Система использует три типа наград: индивидуальные, коллективные и почетные награды подразделений.

1.2.2
Индивидуальные: ордена, наградное оружие, медали и знаки, почетные титулы и звания.

1.2.3
Коллективные: почетные медали.

1.2.4
Почетные награды подразделений: полковые инсигнии и регалии.



1.3. ПОРЯДОК НАГРАЖДЕНИЙ

1.3.1
Данная система предусматривает награждение участника Napoleonic Wargames Club за любой вид деятельности, как то победы, проведение тренировок, административная деятельность, создание сценариев и пр.

1.3.2
Награждения следуют от младшей степени награды
к старшей, не повторяясь, в соответствии
с их статусом и чином претендента.
Старшая степень награды замещает младшую.

1.3.3
Вид поощрения рассматривается и представляется Орденским Капитулом Российской Армии NWC командующему после получения необходимой информации.

1.3.4
Награждение утверждается и производится командующим
армией с соответствующим приказом по армии и сообщением
на форуме.

1.3.5
Информация о награждении и изображение награды
заносятся в досье награжденного на сайте
Российской Армии.

1.3.6
Офицерам позволено использовать некоторые или все изображения наград в подписи на форумах.

2. LIST OF AWARDS / ВИДЫ И СТАТУС НАГРАД

2.1. ORDERS



2.1.1. Order of St. Andrew The First-Called

Motto: "For Faith and Loyalty"

One class. For distinguished battle and administrative merits:
"...the bestowal for loyalty, bravery and other important services
rendered", "...a nominant for the Order must have the Count
or Prince title and a rank of not below the Full General",
and "...would provided some years of useful and loyal services..."

2.1. ОРДЕНА



2.1.1. Орден Святого Андрея Первозванного

Девиз: "За веру и верность"

Одна степень. За выдающиеся боевые и административные заслуги:
"… в воздаяние и награждение за верность, храбрость и прочие оказанные важные услуги…", "… кавалеры оного ордена должны иметь Графский или Княжеский титул, звание не ниже Полного Генерала, … несколько лет оказывали бы полезные и верные услуги…" (Из исторического Статуса ордена)

Within NWC the Order may be awarded to those members in rank of General or higher having been awarded
with order of St. Alexander of the Neva, with 3 years of service within the club and 50 VP in sanctioned club games.
Officer awarded with the order receives additional 25 OBD.





2.1.2. Order of St. George The Victor

Motto: "For Service and bravery"

Four classes. Awards are made from the junior to senior degree. For extraordinary battle merits:
"...to those who personally commanding an army, get a victory over his enemy in significantly superior force consisting,
...who personally commanding his army, obtained a victory over an enemy in the campaign."

Within NWC, awarding the Order of St. George is made based on Georgian Points (GP).
Awards follow when officer receives next 25 GPs. Georgian Points are to be awarded as follows:

2.1.2.1.
For a Major victory in a sanctioned battle within the Club 2 GP.

2.1.2.2.
For a minor victory in a sanctioned battle within the Club 1 GP.

2.1.2.3.
For draw or defeat in a sanctioned battle within the Club GP are not awarded.

2.1.2.4.
For an individual victory in a major club tournament 25 GP.

2.1.2.5.
For qualification to final of a major club tournament or victory in a minor club tournament 10 GP.

2.1.2.6.
For qualification to semifinal of a major club tournament
or qualification to final of a minor club tournament 5 GP.

2.1.2.7.
For multiplayer victory in Guards challenge tournament 5GP.

2.1.2.8.
For an individual complete victory over the equal rank opponent having significantly superior forces 5GP.

2.1.2.9.
For killed or wounded or captured of Napoleon 5 GP.

2.1.2.10.
For killed or wounded or captured of Marshal 1 GP.

2.1.2.11.
For an individual or multiplayer victory over the higher rank opponent according to the following table:

To award to:

I class — not below the Full General.
II class — not below the General-Lieutenant.
III class — not below the Polkovnik.
IV class — for all.

Officer awarded with the order receives additional 5 OBD for every class.




2.1.3. Order of St. Alexander of the Neva

Motto: "For Labors and Motherland"

One class. For battle and administrative merits:
"...not for below Lieutenant-General... for reasons and effects in feats of military and public works duties..."

Within NWC the Order may be awarded to those members in rank of General-Lieutenant or higher having been awarded
with order of St. Vladimir I class.
Officer awarded with the order receives additional 15 OBD.





2.1.4. Order of St. Vladimir

Motto: "For Adnantage, Honour and Glory"

Four classes. Awards are made from the lower to higher degree.
For merits in battles.

To award to:

I class — not below the General-Lieutenant
II class — not below the General-Major
III class — not below the Major
IV class — for all ranks but only for battle merits

Officer awarded with the order receives additional 5 OBD for every class.





2.1.5. Order of St. Anna

Motto: "For Valour, Piety and Faithfulness"

Four classes. Awards are made from the lower to higher degree.
For merits in battles.

I class — not below the General-Major
II class — not below the Major
III class — for all ranks but only for battle merits
IV class — for all ranks but only for battle merits

Officer awarded with the order receives additional 5 OBD for every class.





2.1.6. Hierarchy of the orders

The Order of St. George as a reward for particularly outstanding battle merits is not included
in the overall hierarchy of order awards, in-line with the historic tradition.

For all ranks:
St. Anne IV
St. Anne III
St. Vladimir IV

Not below the Major:
St. Anne II
St. Vladimir III

Not below the General-Major:
St. Anne I
St. Vladimir II

Not below the General-Lieutenant:
St. Vladimir I
St. Alexander of the Neva.

Not below the General:
St. Andrew the First-Called

Decorations of the same class can be awarded to any officer only once.

The lowest grade of St. Anne order is awarded for one major or two minor victories in sanctioned battles
(both multiplayer and individual) registered within the club in any scenarios involving troops of Russian army.
The next decorations would be awarded with the next 10 Award Points (AP) accumulated. AP are awarded as follows:

+4 — for a major victory involving troops of Russian Army
+2 — for a minor victory involving troops of Russian Army
+2 — for a major victory not involving troops of Russian Army
+1 — for a minor victory not involving troops of Russian Army
0 — If a Russian medal or a medal/Order of the Allies is awarded for this battle.

In the event of discrepancy of the next Order status and a rank of the awarded, to use as a quality replacement
of the Order awarding the Honorary Golden Weapon.





2.1.7. Honorary Golden Weapon

(sword for infantry and artillery or sabre for cavalry) Motto: "For Valour"

Two classes. For battle merits.

To award to:

I class — The Honorary Golden Weapon with Diamonds — not below the General-Major.
II class — The Honorary Golden Weapon — for all ranks.

Is used as a quality replacement of the Order award in case officers rank does not allow to award with the next order class.
The award with the order follows as soon as the officer reaches the rank needed without any additional achievements.
With award of the order officer is still allowed to carry the weapons as a sign of distinction.

Officer awarded with the Honorary Golden Weapon receives additional 5 OBD. (To Russian army officers only)





2.2. MEDALS AND CROSSES



2.2.1. The "Preussisch-Eylau. 1807" Cross



These medals are awarded to those officers who have achieved personal or multiplayer Major victory
on battle of East-Prussia campaign (1807) in a sanctioned game within the club.





2.2.2. Medal for the Crossing to the Swedish Coast. 1809



These medals are awarded to those officers who have achieved personal or multiplayer Major victory
on battle of the Swedish-Russian War (1808-1809) in a sanctioned game within the club.





2.2.3. Patriotic war medal. 1812


 

These medals are awarded to those officers who have achieved personal or multiplayer Major victory
on battle of Patriotic war/Russian campaign (1812) in a sanctioned game within the club.





2.2.4. The "Kulm Cross". 1813



These medals are awarded to those officers who have achieved personal or multiplayer Major victory
on battle of Campaign of 1813 in a sanctioned game within the club.





2.2.5. Medal for the Capture of Paris. 1814



These medals are awarded to those officers who have achieved personal or multiplayer Major victory
on battle of Campaign of 1814 in a sanctioned game within the club.





2.3. NONCOMBAT MEDALS



2.3.1. Silver medal to Zemsk militia. 1807



For one completed training game.





2.3.2. Gold medal to Zemsk militia. 1807



For five completed training game with different recruits.





2.4. HONORARY RANKS AND TITLES



2.4.1.
Officer can be created Count upon his qualification to final of major club tournament or in case he has 50 VP
with positive balance of victories and loses during his career. Officer may decide whether or not he will attach
to his surname a name of one of locations where he had a major victory during his career.
Officer is allowed to create his own coat of arms and include it into his signature in the club.
(To Russian army officers only).

2.4.2.
Officer can be created Prince upon his victory in a major club tournament or in case he has 75 VP
with positive balance of victories and loses during his career. Officer may decide whether or not he will attach
to his surname a name of one of locations where he had a major victory during his career.
Officer is allowed to create his own coat of arms and include it into his signature in the club.
(To Russian army officers only).

2.4.3.
Officer can be created Illustrious Prince upon his second victory in a major club tournament
or in case he has 100 VP with positive balance of victories and loses during his career. Officer may decide whether
or not he will attach to his surname a name of one of locations where he had a major victory during his career.
Officer is allowed to create his own coat of arms and include it into his signature in the club.
(To Russian army officers only).

2.4.4.
Officer may be assigned to the rank of Generalissimos in case he has 2000 OBD and title of Illustrious Prince.
There may be only one Generalissimo at a time.
(To Russian army officers only).

2.4.5.
For administrative merits officers can be awarded:

2.4.5.1.
Honorary rank of "The Adjutant-General (Aide-General) of His Imperial Majesty" — to those not below General-Mayor.
(To Russian army officers only).

2.4.5.2.
Honorary rank of "The Fligel-Adjutant (Aide-de-camp) of His Imperial Majesty" — all shtab- and ober-officers.
(To Russian army officers only).





2.5. AWARDS WITH ORDERS AND MEDALS OF OTHER ARMIES
AND AWARDS OF OFFICERS OF ALLIED ARMIES WITH DECORATIONS OF RUSSIAN ARMY



2.5.1.
Officers of Russian Army may be awarded with orders and medals of other armies.
The question whether or not officer is eligible for such an award is decided by commander of respective army.
Commander of Russian Army and if he is unavailable Chief of Staff of the Russian army are the only officers allowed
to approach allied armies commanders on this question. Russian army officers formally eligible
for such an award may inform commander of Russian Army or their immediate superior about the fact.

2.5.2.
Officers of the Allied armies may be awarded with orders and medals of Russian Army except those issued only
to Russian officers. Respective armies commanders should supply all the information needed to make a decision
about officers eligibility to award. General prerequisite for foreign officers is that all the points (VP, GP and OBD)
used in such a decision should be attained in battles involving Russian troops.

2.5.3.
For administrative merits officers can be awarded:

2.5.3.1.
Order of St. Anna IV, III or II classes for a service to Russian Army.

2.5.3.2.
Order of St. Vladimir IV or III classes for a service to NWC.





2.6. HONORARY REGIMENT INSIGNIAS AND REGALIAS



For battle merits. Regiment awarded for every 10 victories as follows:

Signs "For Distinction" to headgears
