Can we upgrade to the latest patch in the middle of games? Can both opponents upgrade together in the midst of a game? What's the best advice? Also what changes were made to which scenarios? Thanks.

I'm not sure on what was done with this patch, but typically, both sides can upgrade midgame without issue. (In fact, if one upgrades, the other has to, you can't play on different versions)

Yes. I have three games going, one as part of a campaign and one is a multi-player, so I would not want to jeopardize any by upgrading without more information. Thanks.

All players have to upgrade at the same time.

If you need to, you can always have two installs, with one for the latest, v1.09 and the other for v1.08a.

Copy the game to temp folder, rename the game to include the old version number and move it back to the original game folder. Then upgrade the other to the latest version.

Then you can play either version.

This can be done if some opponents want to upgrade and others do not.

Upgrading should be a non issue. All the scenario changes were minor, so as chaning non-front line troops to Column formation to make it easier to get your force underway. Save you a lot of clicking.
