Colonial Campaigns Club (CCC)

Greetings Comrades in arms, both friend and foe alike,

WHEREAS I am sitting at table in my new home, and

WHEREAS the DSL seems to be behaving, and

WHEREAS I have a kitten upon my lap and another upon my shoulder, and

WHEREAS my good loyal wife has begun reporting to her new employment, and

WHEREAS I found the HPS CD last night and retrieved it from the packing box, and

WHEREAS I have been ordained and installed and led my first service in my new church, and

WHEREAS life has quietened to the typical dull roar, be it therefore

RESOLVED that your humble servant, Major Jones to wit, formerly of the 23d Royal Welch Fusiliers now commanding the Provincial Brigade, is hereby ready and willing to resume his duties to Crown and Country by punishing the rebellion, eradicating the heathen, de-scenting the Frog and doing his utmost to avoid the Spaniard altogether. Be it further

RESOLVED that the good Major thanks all for their patience and esp. his most noble commanders for their part in carrying through with the specific MP games, and be it further

RESOLVED that the Provincial Brigade is comprised of the toughest, most able officers, and that Maj Jones is proud to lead them to militarily edify the cretonous opponents of His Majesty's good grace, and be it finally

RESOLVED that the aforesaid major is now ready and willing to entertain any ill-conceived challenge for engagement from the colonial, French or even begads, the native militia.
